- Does this work with Shopify? WooCommerce? BigCommerce?
- Yes. The widget works on any platform that can host a script tag, which is essentially every modern ecommerce platform. We have a dedicated WordPress plugin for WooCommerce installations and direct integrations are coming for Shopify. For other platforms, the manual install takes about 10 minutes — no developer needed.
- How is this different from ReferralCandy or Friendbuy?
- The honest answer: those tools are mature and feature-packed if you’re a high-volume Shopify store running cash-payout affiliate programs. We’re built for a different shape of business — simpler discount-code referrals, modern dashboard, transparent pricing without sales calls, and a model that includes service businesses (salons, gyms, med spas) alongside ecommerce. If your priority is direct integrations with twenty platforms, those tools may serve you better. If you want a clean tool that does the core thing well, give us a try.
- Where should I place the widget on my store?
- The two highest-converting placements are: (1) post-purchase — either on your thank-you page or in the order confirmation email, when customers are most excited; and (2) on a dedicated rewards/referral page in your account section. Both placements perform well; running both is best.
- What about referral fraud — self-referrals, fake accounts, etc?
- Two structural protections handle most fraud. First, rewards only trigger on actual revenue — not on signups, not on clicks. Self-referring through a fake account requires the fake account to actually pay, which makes it self-defeating. Second, refunds dock the reward automatically. Any "buy with code, refund, keep credit" scheme reverses immediately. We also flag suspicious patterns (same IP, same payment method) for your review.
- Can I customize the widget to match my brand?
- Yes. Colors, logo, copy, fonts — all under your control. The advocate emails are also customizable. On Growth and Premier plans the "Powered by" tag is removed entirely; customers see only your brand.
- Can I export my data?
- Yes. CSV exports are included on Growth and Premier plans — advocate list, conversion history, reward log. Your data is yours. If you ever want to switch tools, you take everything with you.
