AdvocateLoop

For beauty salons

Your best clients already refer their friends. Make sure they get rewarded for it.

Word-of-mouth is how salons grow, but most owners never know which clients drove the new bookings. AdvocateLoop tracks every referral and sends discount codes automatically.

Sound familiar?

You already know referrals are your best customers. They’re just hard to reward.

You’re tracking referrals on Post-its.

A new client mentions a friend’s name at the front desk and someone scribbles it on a sticky note. Maybe a discount happens, maybe it doesn’t. The client who sent her never knows.

Asking for referrals feels awkward.

You don’t want to make every appointment about marketing. But you also know your best clients would happily share, if you made it simple and worth their time.

You can’t prove what works.

When a new face walks in, was it Instagram, Yelp, a friend, or a Google search? Without tracking, you can’t double down on what’s actually growing the chair.

The chain

One client refers her bridal party. The bridal party brings the next one.

Sarah’s been your client for two years. She refers her friend Lauren for a bridal trial. Lauren books with you, loves the result, and brings two of her bridesmaids. Each one gets her own code. Each one continues the chain.

How it works

From recommendation to reward, on its own.

Step 01

Add the widget to your booking page.

Drop one snippet onto your website. Works with Squarespace, Wix, Vagaro, GlossGenius, custom sites, any platform you’re using. Setup takes about 10 minutes.

Step 02

Clients sign up in seconds.

Your happy clients tap the widget, enter their email, and immediately see pre-filled share buttons for Instagram, SMS, Facebook, and email. No app to install. No account to remember. They’re sharing in one tap.

Step 03

Rewards trigger on real bookings.

When the friend books and pays, the original client gets a discount code emailed to her, redeemable on her next service. You see the whole chain in your dashboard. No checks to write, no spreadsheets.

It fits

Built for how salons actually get paid.

AdvocateLoop reads the sale where it actually happens, your booking system, your point of sale, your store. The reward fires when money changes hands, not just on a website cart. Nothing changes about how you operate.

Rewards that feel like you

No cash. Nothing that cheapens the relationship.

Reward referrals with things that bring people back, not an awkward envelope of cash.

Service credit

A set amount toward their next appointment. Brings them back to your chair while it rewards the referral.

e.g. $20 toward any service

Retail or add-on

A take-home product or a free add-on like a gloss or treatment. Moves retail and shows off services.

e.g. a free conditioning add-on

VIP perk

Priority booking or a members-only perk for your most loyal, most-referring clients.

e.g. first pick of holiday slots

Where it shows up

A few ways it plays out.

Bridal party word-of-mouth.

Maria’s bridal client refers three bridesmaids for hair and makeup. All three book trials. Maria’s original client gets credits she can use on her own next appointment, automatically.

The balayage that becomes a chain.

A new client books a balayage after a friend’s referral. She loves the result, joins your program through the widget, and refers two of her own coworkers. Your dashboard shows the chain growing.

Monthly color clients become ambassadors.

Your standing color clients are your best referrers, they’re in the chair every 4-6 weeks and visibly representing your work. With AdvocateLoop, you reward them for what they’re already doing.

Questions

Answered.

Does this work with my booking system (Vagaro, GlossGenius, Square Appointments)?
The widget lives on your website, so it works regardless of which booking platform you use. When a referred client books, you record the conversion in AdvocateLoop, either through the widget at checkout, manually from your dashboard, or via a webhook if your booking system supports it. We’re actively working on direct integrations with the major salon booking platforms.
Can my stylists see who referred a new client?
Yes. The dashboard shows every conversion alongside the advocate who drove it. You can filter by date range to see which clients have been most active, recognize them at their next appointment, and identify your top referrers for any special programs.
How do clients redeem their discount?
They get an email with their unique code as soon as the friend’s booking is paid. They can apply it at their next appointment, either online during booking or at the front desk. Codes work however your salon already handles promotions.
What if a referred client cancels or asks for a refund?
The reward is automatically docked. You only count rewards on revenue that actually stuck. If a service is comped or refunded, the original advocate’s credit reverses without you needing to do anything.
Will this work for my home-based or booth-rent setup?
Yes. The tool runs entirely off your website and your dashboard, it doesn’t care whether you operate out of a 30-chair salon or a single booth. Booth renters and home-based stylists use it the same way.
Can I customize the widget to match my brand?
Yes. The widget colors, logo, copy, and even the wording on advocate emails are all under your control. Clients see your brand throughout the entire experience, the words "AdvocateLoop" never appear unless you’re on the free Starter plan.
